Nintendo Switch Sports Basketball Update Launches July 9

Nintendo announced the free Sports on Nintendo Switch The basketball-themed update will launch on Tuesday, July 9. Players will be able to enjoy basketball with a variety of control options and playable modes.

This free update was first announced during the Nintendo Direct on June 18. As the update suggests, Sports on Nintendo Switch Players will have access to basketball as a playable sport. Basketball can be played locally offline or online with users who have a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Patch notes will be revealed soon, so stay tuned.

Basketball comes to Spocco Square in the Sports on Nintendo Switch game in free update! Use motion controls to score as many baskets as possible before time runs out in the solo Three-Point Challenge. If you’re looking for some friendly competition, up to four players can compete locally in the Five-Round Battle or Three-Point Contest, and you can dribble, pass, and score in two-on-two matches locally or online.

Released last November, the version 1.3.0 update has already introduced golf, both locally and online, to Sports on Nintendo SwitchOnline play supports up to eight players in Survival Golf. Additionally, golf supports single Joy-Con play, and new game settings are available with the Sports on Nintendo Switch update.

Lately, Sports on Nintendo Switch is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide.
