Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble Now Available, Launch Trailer

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is now available on Nintendo Switch, and SEGA has released a new hand-drawn animated trailer to celebrate the game’s launch. The fun won’t stop soon after launch, because Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble should receive new DLC in fall 2024.

The SEGA Pass is available for $24.99 and includes the Sonic Team DLC, the Radio Jet Set DLC and Crazy taxi DLC. These DLCs will be released over time. Additionally, the SEGA Pass includes 15 customization items based on characters from other SEGA IPs, including Shadow from Sonic the HedgehogAkira Yuki Virtua Fighterand Goro Majima of Like a dragon. The Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99) already includes the SEGA Pass.

Up to 16 players can play online in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. Players can also enjoy a new Spin Dash mechanic, a new Adventure mode, multiple multiplayer battle modes, over 200 new levels and much more. Players will have access to several assistive features, such as the Rewind feature, Ghost Guide option, Route Guide, and Checkpoint restart.

For a limited time in select regions, players can subscribe to the SEGA newsletter at www.bananarumble.com before July 2 to receive a special shinobi costume. It is believed that this outfit was once worn by the elite ninjas of the Oboro clan. A code for the costume will be sent with instructions after the game releases in June.
